What is INFLUENCE-DiCOTA?

Long before the team at CDFCO dipped our toes into the book-publishing water circa 2018, we started in the industry as magazine publishers. In fact, San Antonio's INFLUENCE Magazine Show was once a traditional magazine. Originally launched in 2015, SA's INFLUENCE was meant to be a men's lifestyle magazine, but within that first year, our focus shifted to business and leadership. Also in 2015, we published the magazine I Am Latino, simultaneously publishing both magazines for three consecutive years.

But, as magazines slowly phased out, our very own CEO ventured into the world of video format, and SA's INFLUENCE was suspended while I Am Latino moved out to McAllen, TX. In 2023, San Antonio's INFLUENCE was brought back to the show we bring to viewer's today, featuring local leaders and change makers across San Antonio and the greater Bexar County.

In 2019, we were contacted with a new pitch for a magazine, one focusing on diversity within the business industry that would be called INFLUENCE-DiCOTA Magazine: Capturing the Economic Spirit of Diversity in Communities, Opportunities, Technologies & Amenities. We published the very first edition of the digital magazine in 2020 in the midst of COVID, and we've published at least one edition every year since.

Last year, CDFCO worked on our latest edition of INFLUENCE-DiCOTA, and going into the new year, we are excited to announce that a Spring edition is currently on its way! Our talented team has extensive experience with magazine publishing, and getting the opportunity to publish the next digital DiCOTA edition feels like reconnecting with our roots!

In these changing times, successfully taking on the topic of diversity is quite a feat, but we have no doubts that our upcoming edition will be one of the best to date.
